There are only 15 players left WPT Championship and it's no surprise that Galen Hall is one of them. I'm amazed that he's already made over $2.4 million in 2011. If it weren't for the likes of Seidel I'd consider him the hottest player in the game.

At some point do you think these players actually play for the money or just for the challenge and to try and beat the field? It seems like for some pros money doesn't seem to be the only thing on their mind...its more about beating their competition...do any other people see it that way?

No one knew about him before the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and if he wins the WPT Players Championship he'll be vying with the biggest winner of all time, Erik Seidel, for most money won in 2011. Sick.

The money definitely isn't the be all and end all.

There is friendly and not so friendly rivalry and looking at some of the prop bets I think they bet because they can.
